Just like to make a tribute to Master Minded as I think we have seen his last race. Fantastic horse on his day & I hope he continues to recover at Newmarket before having a probable happy retirement. Still not seen a 2 mile performance visually like his 1st QM in all the time I have followed racing & I think that day he would have served it up to any of the great 2 mile chasers. A real star.

Agree with every word.

1st Queen Mum was spectacular.

Here's wishing he makes a full recovery and has a happy retirement.

here here, has won me a tidy sum over the years, 20/1 mopped up before he won Game Spirit and then one of the most impressive victories ever seen at the festival!!!

agreed, was thinking of posting something similar, at his best, better than anything I've seen including Kauto and Denman. I didn't even like seeing him being beaten over 2 miles because at his best he'd have destroyed Zeb and Europe. Happy retirement.

Overall, I'm probably down from backing him, but I don't care really - love the horse.  I asked Paul Nicholls about him in his Betfair Q and A on Twitter, and he responded.

In his first Champion Chase I backed Twist Magic, and in his second I had the mighty Well Chief ew.

Backed him last year for the Queen Mum, but he more than made up for that with the 7/1 at Aintree.
