gentlemen as you are no doubt aware the greatest show on turf is fast approaching,  the tension and anticipation is building , and those with  early ante post bets  already struck it is an anxious time , fair play to laddies they have taken a lot of the risk out of the ante post market on the 4 championship races with their   introduction of the non runner no bet angle ,
last year on the cheltenham 2011 forum a poster put up a thread enabelling forumites to put up their cheltenham multiples , now for me the festival is the one meeting that gets the heart beating faster and the blood pumping ,you can keep yer royal ascot and the flat meetings but the cheltenham festival is the one that counts .
anyway i think its about time we had a similar thread where we can put up our multiples ,i will start it off .

for the last 3 years i have been going for what i call a life changer ! i,e a multiple that if it came up it would be a huge win for me ,not only that it gives you something to look forward to and to dream about went close the last 2 years and who knows one day it could be you-or me !
anyway heres mine .

captain chris 16s gold cup nrnb
oscars well    25s champion hurdle  nrnb (lads )
first leiutenant 20s r.s.a chase . this is not a nrnb so fingers crossed .
in singles each way doubles  and a £30 each way treble ,if you are lucky enough to get  to get 3 winners  chances are you will only do it once so make it count lump on the treble or acca .

will be going in again  with these 3 plus one in the arkle for more doubles trebs and an acca nearer the time when all firms go nrnb in the week before the festival good luck with yours .

Retirement multi for me too, £5 each way Lucky 15

Cinders and Ashes at 20/1 - Supreme

Oscars Well at 25/1 - CH

Broadbackbob at 25/1 - Neptune

Riverside Theatre at 10/1 - Ryanair

Convinced Cinders is grossly under-rated (especially by pundits on here), but for me has a massive chance. Bit worried about Hendersons plans for the bottom two but we'll see.

I've just today hit Hills for a big double Big Buck 4/7 and Quevega 6/4, pays a shade under 3/1 which I think is outstanding, they'll both win with their head in their chest.
If Quevega is still 6/4 in a coupel of weeks I'll go in again with a lumpy single

Still fancy the fly to get to cheltenham so I've gone in with the double with Big Bucks reasonably strongly. Done a 3 fold with quevega as well, all very straightforward stuff.

Got pissed up and put £4.27 on big bucks, hurricane fly, quevega, long run, al ferof (arkle), fingal bay and for some reason Novak to win the Aussie open and city to beat wigan the other night. My drunk thinking was "what if I get absolutely everything right at cheletenham and haven't backed it??!" Returns 24k or so. Well, realistically speaking it returns **** all when it loses Laugh

Good luck to you all. I never have any luck with ante post multiple bets and with running plans so fluid, I'd probably put the kybosh on your selections if I did!

Might pop my head above the parapet a week before when they go NRNB on all the races and we have a better idea of what is going where.

love doing each way multiples with more than one selection per race at the Festival - specially around the handicaps with 4 places and focusing on the 25/1+ price range as even the cumulative place odds can be very good and there are frequently 33/1, 50/1 shots placed

Very good judo - I like the form of that race a lot myself.  Think you have your stakes the wrong way round though mate.

I was going to put up Medermit @ 16s for Ryan Air and Roodoodooville @ 14s for the Byrne with Billys gives a good chance of collecting the place portion (about 10/1 for your money) and a shot at a lot more

I won't be so bold as to include quant myself

Haven't had as many multiples this year.  I've learnt my lesson now - so many times I've had amazing looking multiples on paper the week before (like Cammy's) but very rarely do they come in.

I did a couple of luckies a long while ago (about 10 months ago).

The best one is:

50p ew

Sprinter 12/1
Oscars Well 20/1
Time for Rupert 16/1
Bobs Worth 10/1

The worst one is:

50p ew

Sprinter 12/1
Zarkandar 10/1
Cap Chris (QMCC) 12/1
Weapons Ammnesty 33/1

They were put on so long ago I've already written the money off.

Since then I've only done 4 multiples

Sprinter (5/2), Big Bucks (4/7) and Quevega (13/8)
Sprinter (5/2) and The Fly (2/1)
Sprinter (5/2) and Simonsig (Supreme) (14/1)
All four repeat winners 50/1

That might look like a lot of multiples but I've tried to stick to doubles and trebles, and not stupid four or five timers I used to do.

I was all over Peddlers at the start of the year, but now you can probably tell I'm in the Sprinter camp, and have already taken the 14/1 for next years QMCC.  Peddlers was my big single bet, but always put Sprinter in all multiples for insurance and to hedge my bets.  If he doesn't win this year's Arkle I will be devestated!
Report thedemps February 5, 2012 9:45 PM GMT
Where is Sprinter 14s for next year?  I can see Peddlers and Cue Card stepping up to Gold Cup possibly and that leaves this division wide open.  FWIW I expect a much stronger challenge from Peddlers at Chel

Masterminded, I have contacted most of them and these are the replies:

365: 14/1 (still 50/50 whether to take it)
Laddies: 10/1
Patrick Power: 8/1
VC: 6/1
Hills: Wouldn't give me a price
Sid James: Wouldn't give me a price
Sky bet: Wouldn't give me a price
Sportingbet: Haven't got back to me

Haven't contacted Baldy, Tote, Koral or Susan Boyles.

The thing is 365 first came back to me with 28/1, and as I was about to ring them up to put it on they quickly changed it to 14's - gutted!!

Thanks WC.  Can't think I would want to lay that sort of price.  Even if 2 or 3 come out of the Arkle and 1 or 2 come out of the Ryan Air.  The QM can only throw up 1 or 2 other possible challengers for next year.  Will sleep on that one.

No retirement, but happy with that - NRNB on the Neptune, so nice return, pity Oscars missed the last out completely or might have sneaked 3rd. Always next year.
