Worst is probably Mon Parrain for the Gold Cup (intending to lay off after the Hennessey!) Shocked Also Weapons Amnesty for the Gold Cup, but I knew what I was getting in to there.

Best also in the Gold Cup but it would be aftertiming Laugh Pretty happy so far with my positions in the Bartlett, Supreme and a couple of live outsiders for the RSA, but all that can change at the drop of a hat at this stage.

What posts you on about, you mean my ones that turned out to be right? Or the ones where i owned up straight after the event in which case my opinion was slightly wrongConfused

ROOBUCK,
Maybe, but i just love this festival, too easy to make money, so difficult to lose it! WinkWinkWink

Worst

ROOBUCK thing is mate i am not a one horse one bet per race punter, if the prices are right, and there is value in there, i will dutch many, thus not only increasing the chances of finding the winner, but also the placed horses too as all of my bets are always each way! I have bet this way and antepost for the last 5 years, with only last years Royal Ascot turning out to have been a losing 'festival' for me! I started off by studying betting patterns from bookies odds on the old channel 4 teletext, writing them down, then betting some of them on the day but not all, i often would say about a winner, i could have had that at 20/1 in early Jan, damn! Or somewhere along those lines. Then after oddschecker started etc, i started to do the same on there, writing down the major move, watching all the major 'prep' races and then placing bets on the day. Now we have exchanges, i now implement them into my antepost betting and for the first 2 years i never built a sizable antepost portfolio, only had the odd bet but as years have past i have started to build it up more and more as time has gone by as i have learned to use the exchanges as a guide as to where a particular horse will be headed. I.e it maybe 12.5 and 12/1 in bookies for Arkle, but be entered in 3 other races, but would be 20/1 with bookies which is no great help but 110 on here for the other 2 races.
Report Meadow January 25, 2012 5:31 AM GMT
Best Bog Warrior 30's win Jewson, Worst Sous Les Cioux 33.1 ew supreme, or visa versa....Mount Benbullen 16.1 AB is the most solid.
