Finians is entered in the Desert Orchid Chase on 27th December at Kempton.
Be taken on by possibly Ghizao, Wishful Thinking and Oiseau De Nuit. A 25 pointer. |

Im afraid backed Ghizao cant jump backed it fto, good chance for Finians especially fto! |

Should have read backed Ghizao fto this season, wont be be winning any decent races imo?
|
|
By:
FR should win that race for sure.

Hope so Sint on for Champion Chase, and in awful ttf,fto should be beating these especially around Kempton.

Hendo has a good record in the race and won it recently with Petit Robin first time out. Anything above Evens for FR is good value.

Agree with that, just having Brandy/Baileys large before going bed as working all fickin w-end on overnights.
Come on Festival not too long now. Happy xmas and punting matey for Xmas and New year, Giles Cross would be handy in Welsh National! |

Did well to win today after the mistake

|

Not sure he's going to trouble Big Zeb and Sizing .

You would hope NJH left something to work on though as his next race is a Grade 1 at Ascot. Hard to imagine him being any more than 90% for that race today imo, and the horse in 2nd and 3rd are solid yardsticks.
FR also did not look keen and fizzy, he looks more settled to me. |

Geraghty gave him a magnificent ride to win today. One has to say he'd have won by much more barring that dreadful mistake.

Now looking forwards to Spirits Son.

Quietly impressive I thought, given the mistake. His ability to get home at the end of a punishing race has been my constant concern regarding this chances in the Queen Mother but he did look more settled today and I was pleased to see him want to knuckle down and win the race after the last.
A very likable performance I thought, and one that bodes very well for the season ahead. Very happy to hear they go to Ascot with him as well as that is a stiff track for the trip and should help to show whether he might get home better this term. I have lost a few quid on him at the last two Festivals but still love him. |

Just doesn't get home at Cheltenham. The Arkle was run to suit and form has yet to be franked and Queen Mother always goes to a strong stayer.
