No quotes for you dave, I'm afraid.

Am having a bit of difficulty in rating this performance really as for all that he was in the process of smashing up, I had a big suspicion that the race itself was a pretty bad one for the grade.

Hazy Tom entered at Ascot on Friday,if he runs that should give you more of an idea about things

He would have dotted up on Saturday but it was a poor race.

I've had an e/w tickle at 16/1, what price would he be if he'd won by 10 lengths last week? And if he stays injury free you know this race is the aim unlike a lot of the novice hurdlers who could race in any of the 4

just done £30 win / £10 pace at 16s ........fingers crossed , this could well be 4/1 on the day, like you say theres so many races the others can run in , knowing hes being aimed at this is a massive plus

It looked a poor race to me on Saturday but at least the same connections have won the AB before with Weapons Amnesty.

Trainer stated horse was stiff, but nothing more after the fall.  I would prefer to see it entered anywhere before backing it.  Had my fingers burnt backing horses that fell.

The Albert Bartlett Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival in March is the target for yesterdays unlucky Cheltenham faller Sea Of Thunder.

The Charles Byrnes trained gelding was six lengths clear and in command when falling at the last in a Grade 2 contest over three miles at Cheltenham yesterday.

Speaking from Cork this afternoon Byrnes said: "Sea Of Thunder is a bit stiff but ok.

"He will go for the Albert Bartlett Hurdle at the Festival in March now but he will probably have one more run before then.

"Both he and Pittoni had rough passages over as they were on the boat for six hours and then it took three hours to dock.

"Pittoni will have a bit of a break now."
