i couldnt agree more but i'll reitterate my friend who posts on here assures me it has improved tonnes.

Would be a surprise but was only a length behind Peddlers in Fighting Fifth last year. Same age aswel (only 6 now) so could still have improvement in him. Not the greatest depth in the race either

Got nothing against the horse, but hated the way he was campaigned last year.

Connections sending mixed messages about Arkle or hurdles all year and in the end he threw away his novice tag for a micky mouse race and punters got their fingers burnt.

In fairness the horse isn't a complete rag....he did finish 5th to Binocular in 2010. Let us just give the story the benefit of doubt and assume he has improved 7lb to 14lb, it wouldn't then be beyond the realms of fantasy to give it a sniff.

horse is top class, just unfortunate to come up against some top 2milers, surely runs soon and surely not a 1000 shot to win the champ if he lines up?

I think Starluck is a great little bet in the Antepost market.

I've had a little at 600/1 purely with the view point that he travels so well in his races the 'In Running' market will collapse his price into 10 - 20/1 after a mile and a half of the race.

He is great type for this type of bet.

Backed Starluck in the 2009 Triumph, looked like he might win it until he took one look at the rising ground and burst into tears!   Reckoned I would get my money back in a Christmas Hurdle as Kempton was clearly more his scene but though running well in 2 of them he never quite managed that either.  Not quite Grade 1 material even when conditions suit, absolutely no chance in a Champion Hurdle even though he might look like a winner coming down the hill...

Until I see the Arbuthnot Starluck I am, foolishly in all probability, reserving judgement.
