I respect Sarando's chances in the Hennessy, but to me what ever he Postmarks on Saturday, you can add a stone on to that rating when he goes right handed.
Have a look at his win first time out this season!
So what Im saying is, if you back him for the Hennessy, and he loses, dont give up betting on him again if he goes for the Racing Post Chase!
Now I'm thinking about it... double your stake!!

He carries my money tomorrow anyway.If he can anywhere close to the form that saw him finish within a nk of Quito De La Roque at Aintree he should go very close.Considering that horse is now rated 169,potentially Sarando could have 16lbs to spare tomorrow and he looks to be a very progressive chaser.

^ Certainly respect his chances tomorrow and agree that he could be well-in (to an extent). If Quito De La Roque is worth 169 I'd be amazed, but take your point. Even if he's 162-3ish that still potentially puts Sarando in with a great shout off 153.

he isn't for me....the quito form probably is a result of quito under-performing somewhat and the carlisle win was against aikman who is slightly disappointing since going over fences and cross kennon who hates jumping fences more than any other horse in training!!!!

Sarando could seek compensation over the festive period following his untimely exit in the Hennessy Gold Cup on Saturday.
Paul Webber's six-year-old was still travelling kindly when he fell at the 16th at Newbury, and returned home with a minor injury. Sarando is entered in the Sportingbet Future Stars Chase at Sandown on Friday, but is instead likely to return towards the end of the year. "He's got what would be the equivalent of a dead-leg in a human," said Webber. "He got a kick on his thigh on his off-hind leg and he was a bit stiff, but he's better now and I think it was just a bit of bruising. "I don't know where he'll run next. I'll see how many days his leg takes to ease out, maybe somewhere at Christmas and possibly the Racing Post Chase at Kempton in February, but I'm not quite sure." |

I can see Great Endeavour in the Ryan Air. He just might surprise in that. the racing post would fit in nicely. It whether he would want a right handed track |

Sarando looks like turning up for the Racing Post off a winnable 145 rating.
Plus the better ground is in his favour too. Still looks a fantastic bet at 25/1 e/w. I'm happy with my long range pick! |

Its just a waiting game, but he's in the final 15 declarations, so we can be hopeful!!

What makes you so sure he is better right handed when his best form was at Aintree? |

I watched him win against Aikman early this season, he was impressive slamming mediocre opposition that day.
What was visibly clear was his jumping style, naturally to the right, and sometimes quite pronounced. That was why I could see him lose in the Hennessey, but win a top right handed track handicap. I have watched many times his runs at Aintree, and also the Hennessey, and they both confirm he will improve for jumping right handed. I agree with you that Aintree is his best form. I used that form line , plus adding improvement of 12lbs for going right handed as my reasons to fancy him for The Racing Post. He runs off a mere 145, and expect the cheekpieces back on for optimum performance. |
