Doesn't run Sunday, not drifting enough in the Champion Hurdle for any great alarm! Minor setback id of thought, no problem!

I agree. Nothing to worry unduly about. Backing a horse sub 2/1 nearly a year out wouldnt be my bag though, backers need to ne prepared for plenty more of this between now and March!

I will repeat my assertion at this time every season. Name 10 horses that will run at the festival and I reckon it is evens that you will not get 6 or more of them turning up. That is the sad reality of NH racing and injuries. With that in mind, you are betting a double or a treble (which race will they contest, will they run at all and will they win) whnen taking an ante post price now for next March.

Anyone know when this statement is due?

We're all speculating (hoping, really?) about a minor setback at the moment. The thing that worries me is that if it's only minor why not say something this morning when he was taken out of the betting for the Morgiana? Why the need for a statement?

The comp I am in has 143 entrants for TTf and 140 of those included HF, so if he is a gonna for the season it wont really change things

It changes things in as much as there are people who also have thousands stars, oscars well, pittoni  etc who now have a good chance of picking up 25 valuable points where they wouldn't have done if the fly had run.

It pays to have two of each type where possible imo if they will be contesting bonus races. My other 2m Irish Hurdler was Oscars Well so hopefully he does the bizzo and jizzo to win some snizzo
