By:
my thoughts that old chestnut
By:
His trainer now has 4 possibles for the World Hurdle.
Mik d,Mourad,Zaidpour and So Young. Has anyone any idea at all or heard anything about plans for these horses?? |
By:
youve left out the 3rd fav from the same stable...thousand stars.
By:
Thats bad,sorry.
I have backed him as well!! ![]() |
By:
Another nice win for Zaidpour, but is he a WH horse??
Could be. |
By:
excellent performance. A horse who could go very far indeed although id say a perference for deep ground.
By:
yeh, walsh just said he needs soft ground.
By:
Still trying to get Bick Buck's beat I see. Good luck with that.

Good One Strontium!!
By:
Although I have to add that I was a big fan of Mikael.
He has cost me plenty, including reputation! I told quite a few people to back him in the RSA! He has a big win in him. |
By:
Whats wrong with that Stront, hes a horse and will get beat one day i should think.
Maybe that day will be in March. |
By:
Yes, he'll get beaten eventually. But at the moment, he's devastatingly good, probably the best national hunt horse in training. I think he's run his best two races in 2011 and looks to still be improving (mentally at least). He's the complete package - very high cruising speed, great turn of foot, extraordinary stamina. In the short term, it's going to take something very lucky or absolutely exceptional to beat him.
By:
yep, totally agree,he will take a lot of beating alright.
Could happen though. |
By:
Got the impression they'll look at the Champion HUrdle fir Zaidpour rather than the WH. He does seem to prefer soft though so may not turn up at all
By:
MDH might have been a WH contender before his injury, but not anymore IMO
By:
Might Mikael be aimed at the Ryanair?
By:
Can't see him back over fences again, I don't think his legs can take it. He never fell last season due to hitting a fence, he crumpled on landing twice
By:
willie says hes staying over hurdles!
By:
gone at top level sadly
By:
Another win for Mik d.Not so sure hes gone at top level myself Howdi, maybe hes starting to realise his potential back over hurdles, seems to be doing it well enough.

48 on here for WH this morning,16 now.
