Lexus......Irish Hennessy.....Gold Cup?

Haven't heard any updates recently, last one was a month ago
"We're taking him along steady and hoping he's going to be all right.
"He's started training again and everything has been OK with him so far, but my fingers are crossed with him. I don't want to take any chances too early so I'm taking him along very steadily.
"We'll be waiting for soft ground as he's a big, heavy horse that does need those conditions.
"He's a very decent horse. He showed that in the race in Leopardstown. In the Lexus he was very good. He's an out-and-out three-mile horse."
He has an excellent chance in winter ground over in Ireland, but I think the Gold Cup may be beyond him imo.

From Meades recent stable tour
We have been taking things very, very steadily with Pandorama and his first run of the season is likely to be the Lexus at Christmas. I was forced into running him in the Gold Cup when I really didn't want to because the ground was far too quick for him, but his owner (Robert (Bagnall) was very keen to run and he pushed me into it. He came back after the race and showed signs of jarring. We were very cagey with him after that and I didn't take him back until very late with a view to getting him ready for Christmas. If there is any doubt about him whatsoever, I will stop as I don't want to take any chnaces with this fella. Even more frustrating than the ground going against him last year at Cheltenham was the fact that we missed the Hennessy at Leapardstown in February because that looked a sitting duck for him.

Dont blame him,owners putting their own interest before whats best for the horse p1ss me off to be honest.
Is that fact? Never should haev run last year but still ran a very respectable race.
No just my opinion needs soft as we all know,very rarely soft enough for him especially Gold Cup day?
i dont think they have much to lose if soft is in the description somewhere... they jsut got away from him this year as it hotted up
Last year's Gold Cup was run on very fast ground......2010 or 2008 Gold Cup conditions would be near ideal for Pandorama.
Too talented to be quoted at an inflated price, needs too much in his favour to be worth backing at his price. For the Gold Cup that is. For me he's one to draw a line through for now.
it'll take a very good one to beat him in ireland in the lexus/hennessy in bad ground.
To me, soft also suits Long Run - I can't see the ground being enough for Pandorama to impove past him.
^if it comes up soft in the Cheltenham Gold Cup (sorry).
Quito De La Roque might give him a decent race in the Lexus / Hennessy - the mud flying won't bother him
there are several soft ground horses in Ireland over 3 miles .. Joncol being another.
Both being somewhat injury prone and therefore to be treated with caution.
