didnt beat much but did it nicely first time, should come on for that and looks to have a big future over fences.

however, you could argue de valaria has achieved more however and there could be more to come from the mare who is a danger in reciept of so much weight.

too short for me tomorrow but im on for cheltenham.

Battled back well after being headed. Needs to improve his jumping, just looks a bit untidy at times, but unlikely he is fully wound up at this stage. At this point, not for me.
Report Howdi October 16, 2011 4:56 PM BST
apparently having couple more runs pre xmas
Report alexmillwall October 16, 2011 5:04 PM BST
MM is right in getting as many runs into him as possible- big engine, too early to write off if jumping improves.
Report Howdi October 16, 2011 5:07 PM BST
winner would be very fit loads of runs in last 3 months 9 i think

Carnage for the punter this time of year, no other sport like it. Does make me laugh that multi million pound trainer cant get their horse 100% fit for a racecourse

Have backed f l for rsa and am not overly worried bout todays result as the horses form going left handed is far superior to that going right handed. A big chasing type who appreciates better ground, a faster gallop and has cheltenham form. His jumping will be better come the BIG day.

I think Bobs Worth is the one to beat in the RSA.

However, at the moment its all about getting experience, but I would have expected him to win today, especially off level weights with the winner.  FL couldn't have been too unfit if he only ran 14 days ago
Report Howdi October 16, 2011 7:57 PM BST
tend to agree with wellchief but early days and inexperience may have beATEN HIM
Report Colonel Sanders October 16, 2011 8:52 PM BST
You have to remember FL was beat twice before Xmas last year against horses that wouldn't get near to winning a Neptune

I certainly wouldn't write him off yet
Report R Carver October 16, 2011 9:54 PM BST
I agree Colonel.
