According to stable tour he's recovered well and should be back just before xmas. Ryan Air was the plan last year before injury. Top horse and will win some races, personally I don't think hes a Cheltenham horse.

Agree,think he is a flat track horse,certainly his best form is on them,and only race at chelt was not that good.
Would not back him in any race at the festival,but at that sort of price i guess its worth a go for some.

Good horse, one of the best lookers in training (typical King Theatre) think he ran poorly in the Arkle becuase he was crying out for further. This was apparent over hurdles and in the earlier part of his novice chase career IMO.  I'd not be sure how he could reverse the King George form with Long Run in the Gold Cup, but he could run into a place. RyanAir looks more suitable perhaps. As for whether he handles the track? Not much evidence to go on, I really believe in the Arkle he was undone by the pace before the track became an issue. He flew up the hill. I think the Melling Chase would be tailor made for him.
