well you made a thread about it so not really being nosey. I would not bet in the Triumph until on the day or very close to the day to many uncertainties to determine value.

triumph hurdle antepost betting is a great way of getting rid of excess cash! nicholls thinks a lot of hinterland, but if you asked him which of his had the best chance in the triumph this time last year, hed have told you brampour!

Hope you do and hope you're right Howdi.

No bet for me as yet but the best Juvenile Hurdle for unraced hurdlers is at Auteuil next week, Nicholls is always over there at the start of October to buy off the flat and the same again in November.

The Prix Pride of Kildare is the race - been won in recent years by Azertyuiop, Exotic Dancer, Master Minded and Tell No One.  Nicholls bought the first two a couple of years ago (Sang Bleu and Tanerko Emery).  Still not given up on SB just needs to get his act together.

Hinterland the obvious one at the moment I guess. I would imagine as soon as the market opens he will be fav as there is already a lot of buzz about him.

Back In Focus - Irish Novice Chases

Mount Benbulben - Irish Novice Hurdles (proviso being that he's been schooled in a serious way during the Summer)

Hard to come up with two others at min Howdi - they were the most exciting horses for me last season though the second one was a shocking jumper of P2P fences but has a HUGE engine.

This for the comp with your mate?

Will be posting as often as I can Howdi - Hinterland looked good but it was an early Novice Hurdle and as seen from Sway, Temple Lord, Katkovana, Tanais Du Chenet - the best early on as 3yos aren't always the best 10 or 11 months later.

It's a machine Howdi - only two problems:

a) it demolished every single fence he jumped at Tinahely

b) moved yards - joined Gordon Elliott so unlikely to be much of a price and yet to see him train a genuinely top class novice hurdler.

Hinterland pretty much ran to form today, I'd be surprised if that's Triumph form though. That said, it's a strange year without a genuine Triumph-winning performance to date. Things are bound to change. I doubt Hinterland is any higher than nbr 3 in Nicholls' Triumph Team.
