1833 has been mapped out for Hennessey since they bought him. That is the plan. Think there is another article tomorrow with another 40 horses

Agree Budd, I think the form of his novice chase wins can be thrown in the bin. They fell apart horribly. I thought Jacob (?) was also quite aggressive enough on him in the RSA, much harder to do that in the RSA than a poor 3 runner race at Newbury. He could improve dramatically this yr but 152 looks steep. All that said, 1833 is possibly the best looking horse in training!

Generally I agree he doesn't look that good, but Newbury does seem to be his track.

I'm still not sure why he got beaten in the Topham in April, when he looked all over the winner until the run-in. It half looked as though he didn't stay but he's only five and he's a lot stronger this year. I'm not certain about his ideal trip but we'll enter him in the Paddy Power Gold Cup and see where we go after that" think he'll end up starting 2nd fav to Long Run and win the gold cup |

hes going to the hennessy and persumably theyll decide from there. i think he has no hope in the hennessy, never mind the gc! in newbury he looked beat to me by tm when tm came down and voramar two, who finished second has hardly enhanced the form.
on his next run his only serious challenger fell while the horse he beat ran just like the rp says, Hit 2nd, blundered 3rd, hit 6th, left 10 lengths 2nd and slightly hampered 10th, effort to close on winner when mistake 13th, held when blundered 4 out, no chance and jumped left from 3 out not hard to beat a horse like that! he pulled up in the rsa like his form entitles him to do, because hes not good enough. i make him a 140ish horse |

The Champion trainer has had plenty of success in the past with Irish Point to Pointers. This season he appears to have a particular strong team of Novice Hurdlers most of which graduated from Irish point to points. Some of the names to follow inlcude:

The eleven year old had a frustrating season due to injury but appears to be back on track according to his trainer Paul Nicholls. The six time track winner was a former Irish Pointer with Pat Doyle in 2008. Al Ferof who won the Supreme Novices Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival this year was also a former pointer.
