keep trying the premierinn, not sure how expensive it is but even if there are no rooms showing they tend to get cancellations, especially nearer the festival

I have noticed today a B&B sign that has gone up outside a newly renovated house in Longford - just outside Gloucester on the Tewkesbury Road. It is the Longford Mews - there is also the Longford Lodge a few doors away from it and a pub (Queens Head) next door to the newly opened place.
I don't know if they are full for next year but the place was a B&B a couple of years ago and was sold around 18 months back - the story was that it was going to be let as bedsits. The sign today said £30 pn b&b but I doubt it would be that in March. I can vouch for the pub and also the public transport into Cheltenham - might be worth an enquiry. The no. is 01452 301118 Good luck and I would be interested in comments if anyone enquires. |

Where can people recommend that is easy access to the course by public transport? I've been looking at the various Premier Inns around Chelts but it doesn't seem too easy to get there from any of them without driving.

Not sure what your budget is but you can get really good quality Cheltenham town centre B&B for about £65 per person per night. Walking distance of everywhere so no taxi fares etc. Much better than staying out of town unless you are driving of course.

Any pubs do rooms in Chelts? Been offered a studio but it's silly money really and am sure there must be alternatives.Have used the Prem inn 3 outa last 4 years but as i had to leave early for a bereavement they never offered me the room back and that was a century a night
