Kauto Star has such a weird pedigree. His sire seems to have never sired anything else of note and his (other) best progeny were sprinters. His damsire and grandsire are both big stamina influences (and his sire was 5th in an Arc). It explains a lot but it's freaky and a hard trick to pull twice.

also worth mentionin that kauto stone has run very badly the last twice so he will have to be sorted out first!

i agree with all of those, the ghizao one is v interesting. going on form of the chelts metting before the festival, captain chris had loads to find with him. but saying that, andy stewart said for ghizao to win the arkle, it would have to be very weak[:x] looking forward to seeing the proper jumps season start!

me to reve seems like ages this year but guess it always does!

Ghizao shouldnt be 3 times Finian's price imvho.

i followed finians career closely lat year but he was slautered by the captain and iff u backed him at 10s you wouldnt want captain chris turning up at cheltenham. I believe the gold cup may be his target though.
