100% agreee mate. His jumping is unreal and he was pulling really hard early over 2 and a half last week I'd love to see him over 2 miles

But as he clearly stays 2.5 miles on a flat track, when he gets older and settles he should easily stay further and that gives so many more options. It would still be interesting to see him in a top 2 mile chase though.

A lot will depend on what route they want to go down with Captain Chris.
If they do send Captain Chris over further then there is every possibility they might try Wishful Thinking over 2m; I'm sure they won't run against each other. |

for me with the pace he clearly has he will have difficulty staying 2m5f (and winning) a ryanair and i dont see such a keen horse winning the king george or a betfair chase etc. Over 2 miles i think he'd have many a good 2 miler in trouble turning for home.

Would love to see this fellow given a chance at 2m

Lets wait and see how good the horse that beat him at Cheltenham turns out to be before coming to a strong view. He looks a 2.5 horse to me and he could have been taking on a future champion at Cheltenham. The alternative view is that he just falls short of Championship class at any distance.

Outsndingperformance again today. Its just a pity it will most probably be a guessing game most of the season to where he ends up at Cheltenham

I backed it at cheltenham, still think him and noble prince are top notch.
Personally i would love to see WT line up in the king george. |

Reminds me of Edredon Bleu in his style of running. 2m makes sense for the horse as you could imagine him taking lengths off the field against the others.

Obviously I'm referring to his jumping there - I should have added

Looks like a stayer to me, imagine it would just set things up over shorter trips.

Form just franked in the galway plate.
Wishful Thinking could be special. |
