Put up a gallery yesterday featuring some faces at Aintree. A few jocks, couple of celebs etc...

Some of the young ladies though are indeed fitter than the Cheltenham selection:

Psychic your efforts are appreciated wherever you put them, great photos by the way, how about a grand national special 'tip of the day'

et you had fun taking those photo's P M - what's your opinion of the 3 days.
Tends to get the 'orange women' coverage from the popular press but I think that generally there is a fantastic atmosphere and mostly friendly people from all over the world out to have a good time.

Hi Crys.

Those Aintree pics were taken by my business partner, Mark Johnston. He's been a pro photographer for years and loves Aintree (way more than unfriendly Cheltenham). I've never been there but we'll both have press passes for next year.

Aintree is most definitely full of orange women on Friday and Saturday.

I used to work 2 mins round the corner and only live a few miles away and the Friday especially is full of orange women, lads in "Next Sale" suits and posh sunglasses (even if it rains!!)

They all go for a Champagne Breakfast and then think they're cool turning up in their Hummer limo's.  They pay a ridiculous price for a grandstand ticket and think they are "cool" because they're in a grandstand.  They then spend £70 for a bottle of Moet to pose in front of everyone else.

Obviosuly not everyone is like this but I think you can tell its not for me.

On the other hand, the October and November meetings there are great-I feel priveledged to say I was there to see Monet's Garden win his last ever race in front of a knowledgable crowd who appreciated this wonderful horse

For what it is really like at Aintree, take a look at these photos!!!

Which one is your favourite?  Amazing!
