Does anybody know what the injury is or how he's progressing!?
Given the way the form of last years RSA Chase has worked out, forget Long Run, he could be one of the greatest chasers of recent years! Beat a Hennessey Gold Cup runner up in to 2nd, had the winner further in behind, a Gold Cup winner in 3rd...33/1 Stan James could be a massive price if all can be well once more!
maybee you could search for a c.byrnes website not sure if he has one but a lot of trainers do if the injury was not too serious i would be interested at that price as its worth the risk....good luck

I really like Weapons Amnesty, and have put him in an ew lucky 15 for next year at 33's.
What I like about him is he does all his best work at Cheltenham, similar to Imperial Commander. Away from Cheltenham his record is pretty poor (3 from 12), but at Cheltenham he is a different animal.
when he won the Albert Bartlett I thought it was a pretty poor renewal and didn't pay much notice to him after that. However, looking back he won cosily against Pride of Dulcote, who I rated really highly and fancied him for the Gold Cup just gone.
Then there was the RSA, which in my opinion, was a much stronger renewal than the one just gone. Time after time the form has worked out; even down to Knockara Beau over hurdles. Having horses like Long Run, Burton Port, Punchestowns, Diamond Harry, Little Josh and Knockara Beau behind shows a really good level of form.
I remember last year Charles Byrnes said the injury wasn't serious; they wanted to give him a year off to fully recover, and that says to me how highly they rate him.
I see he is now top price 20's, which I think is a more realistic price. Hopefully he can become fully fit this year, head for the Hennessy (he'd have a massive chance off 152), maybe the Lexus and then to the Gold Cup.
Good luck to you
