This utter clown has been spouting his utter tripe for weeks about Midnight Chase being the second coming of Pegasus 
This repulsive lying Walter Mitty has been shouting ANYONE down who suggested this horse whilst admirable was WAY out of his depth.
He stated Long Run had NO chance at Chelt...the jockey was not good enough.
Kauto had no chance as too old...Chelt did not suit
Denman admirable but no chance.
He also stated here last Thurs that Tom Scu was a VERY good replacement ( his words ) when someone suggested Dougie would be missed...again shouting the guy down like he was stupid
All this despite his headlines a while back saying Tom Scu was an idiot and should NEVER get any rides again

I don't mind anyone being wrong, even well out, as we've all been there a few times.
My roll call (for lays) last year was shocking:
Imperial Commander - Gold Cup
Poet's Voice - QE II
Arctic Cosmos - St.Leger
Diamond Harry - Hennessy
Long Run - King George
I'm sure there's a few more too!
What's stupid, is to be so scornful of others' views and then have to go AWOL.
Diamond Harry was a particular embarrassment for me as I went into detail about why I couldn't back him (ante-post at single-figure odds) and even AFTER the race, I still think I'm right!
For me, these debates are about value, and I stand by my reasoning even after being proven wrong. Many on here need to develop some humility.
I didn't see Spunky's thread but I couldn't fancy Midnight Chase at all (at 9/1?) as his jumping left a lot to be desired, I didn't think he'd have it all his own way up front and he still had lots to find on the book - for once, I was spot-on!
