with an ounce of improvement, and probably less competition, Long Run must be a shoe in if he stays fit.

I have always said if Big Bucks ever ran he would win a GC, so as long as he stays hurdling Long Run should be a fair ante post bet, start today.

Sprinter Sacre or Peddlers Cross to win the Arkle and Weapons Amnesty e/w in the Gold Cup

Silvinaco conti rated 162 over hurdles, probably the best thing iv ever seen leave the air. I prosume he will be put away now to strengthen up as he looks very narrow and immature, I wouldn't of thought he would go to aintree as they have C'Halo.

I prosume he goes novice chasing next season and if people believe leading contenders are going to be the likes of sprinter sacre then on form lines you have to think Silvinaco Conti has equally as good a chance, Nicholls deals with these french sorts really well and personally speaking he looks every bit a Kauto Star in the making. Arkle/Jewson - Tingle Creek - king George - Gold Cup.

perhaps i can get a price on this lol :)

Long Run will have better opposition next year when other young legs come through to take him on. Bostons Angel was under-estimated the RSA, Jessie's Dream, Noble Prince, Time For Rupert ridden properly, Captain Chris, perhaps Sizing Europe. Long Run's price is very short now at the end of the day he beat a couple of 11 yo's past their best.

There is one looks ideal for the Arkle but not sure if going for it yet.

First Lieutenant in whichever novice chase they target (probably one of the two longer ones).

Is a poor price has a War Of Attrition factor taken off the price already.

they all look poor prices for the RSA at this stage eric and it might end up in the 'new' Jewson yet.

Won't be backing it any time soon - just a horse to take out of the festival - I expect him to be one of the hurdlers who takes to chasing - not all of them will obviously.

Have reviewed the Festival races today, (not the ch e ating h'caps), and there are some fairly short for some of the novice chases next season who dont look chasing types imo.

Sprinter Sacre - Arkle

what ever race peddlers turns up in has to go novice chaseing now, as hurricane fly if staying sound will take some beating in the champion again , court in motion in rsa chase, somersby in the ryanair , should have gone for that race this season , and cue card in the arkle looks a great chaser in the makeing , geat 4 days roll on 2012

If Peddlers turns up in the Arkle it will take some horse to beat him.

He would be the best hurdler in a long while (that I can remember) who would go for it.

Peddlers dont have to go chasing all the hurdle races in England are his. Then have another crack at the fly, hes hardly a failed hurdler is he?

In no way shape of form is Peddlers a failed hurdler, I love this horse.

However, I think he can get right to the top of the tree of the chasing division; firstly in the Arkle and eventually stepping up to Gold Cup distance in a few years.

There was rumours last year of him going novice chasing, so I think they will this year.  He is a crack 2m / 2m4f hurdler who will be 7 next year - the perfect profile for an Arkle winner.  He is 12/1 on here for the Champion Hurdle (bookies are much shorter), and Totesport don't even have him in the betting for the Champion Hurdle.

I've had a bet at 16/1 for the Arkle and will go in again if (and/or when ) Donald McCain announces it.

If he doesn't go for the Arkle I'd be all over Sprinter Sacre.

2012 Gold Cup - Weapons Amnesty. He would have won that race this year. Lets hope he comes back from this injury.
