NTD has had 10 runners at the festival at an average price of 27/1 and they have run accordingly.

I wouldn't have a seconds worry about Bay Run who along with the more obvious Bicg Buck's and Quevega looks a realistic banker.

The fact most punters don't pay that much attention to point to points and hunter chases is the only reason the horse isn't half the odds he is.

I can't find anything even capable of getting him off the bridle to be honest. The Bolger horse is decent but they come here under the cloud of debate on whether they should have waited another year or not.

I would worry about Imperial Commander who should surely have had one more run but went wrong. All right saying he runs well when fresh but he ran well at Haydock when fresh and nearly got beaten by Tidal bay. An extra run in the I King George even if he had finished stone last would have made it much easier to get him match fit for today.

Kauto Star is 11 and they say age has caught up with him but Imperial Commander is no spring chicken at 10 years old and we have no idea if the proximity of Tidal Bay was down to being in front too long or last years race taking the edge of him. He has only had 4 less races than Denman who is a year older so he hasn't exactly had an easy career.

No doubt he could win again but you are backing him totally blind in the hope a horse who hasn't ran for 118 days, has lost 10 of his 18 starts, can step straight of the gallops on to the racecourse and be 110% fit and  win the worlds top steeplechase.

He has a good record at Cheltenham but Kauto and Denman don't exactly hate the place. Not that I'm into value bets as they call them but I certainly wouldn't describe him as one.

Cheltenham this year is all about 1 horse for me and that is Baby Run . If he wins then a good festival is guaranteed. If he loses than I would be doing well to break even. Took the 3-1 NRNB and very happy with the price. The stable form is worrying and I would have been happier if the promised rain had appeared.

Is not looking good for Baby Run.

Can't believe he's still joint favourite. I can only think its office money, maybe alot doubles/trebles running on to it. Bobsworth,Long Run, maybe.

Hope on the fringe wins, my biggest bet of the week but will need luck in running.
