I just tried to have €100 at 3/1 on cue card. Was offered €50 over the phone. This is typical of a major firm bragging free publicity but not having the balls to follow through. The whole thing annoys the life out of me on Day 1 of the festival

It's all about public relations mate so why bother? It's more in their interest from a business point of view to lay 50 punters 2 quid 3/1 than to lay a single punter 100 quid at 3/1. Should try getting 6k on with them the alarm bells are so loud they can be heard in Australia

Just back from one of their shops (got there at 9.35)Cue Card @5/2.
They must have offered 3/1 for about 5 minutes.Pathetic. |

I never have problems getting on tbh but I don't back direct with the big companies but the guys every right to complain about these people.
They claim to be bookies but are accountants taking millions out of the game and have no place in the game. They know if they refuse big bets it increases their chances of coming out on top and they are nothing more than leeches. Any big punter will tell you he can go and get 5k on at the course in minutes while these morons wouldn't lay you 2 bananas to a plum. |
