No formal dress code but 'smart casual' is the general unwritten rule.

Most important thing, dress for the weather, not the fashion!

swardean ; we get this every year and it's tiresome .simple ; brown suede brogues to soak up spilt ****ss ,lime green cords , pink shirt ,bright blue jumper and yellow tie. topped off with a velvet collar coat and a fedora . no need then to buy a badge ,just say 'charlie mann , trainer' as you walk in . tip; get changed again before catching the all night 192 bus to longsight from manchester .....

Love it Windsor Knot,I was on the ;ast Chelt to Preston train the day Brace Inca won the CH.  The train was stopped and police entered due to a stabbing.,  Made the old football expresses look like Thomas the Tank engine

From the Cheltenham website;

What should I wear?

There is no dress code at Cheltenham - we recommend you dress for the weather. Thursday at The Festival is now established as Ladies Day. There are awards for Best Dressed Lady, Best Accessories and Best Hat so feel free to dress up

No its just flat meetings where you usually need to dust off the suit for no good reason whatsoever
