anyone have any idea what i can get back if anything?
i had 2 tickets heading for cheltenham which were both placed on the 13/1/11
ladbrookes £250 @ 12/1 double on binocular winning xmas hurdle and champion hurdle.....
william hill £300 @ 10/1 double on binocular winning xmas hurdle and champion hurdle.....
i went in william hill today as i was more confident reading they were refunding all binocular bets they paid me out the first part of the bet at 13/8 apparently being price binocular was in xmas hurdle time of bet
this paid me a return of £787.50
gonna try ladbrookes tomorrow but im not as confident
has anyone else had a refund from laddies yet? and what date did you place the bet. someone said they had been NRNB for months but i also heard they went NRNB on the 31/1/11
in which case im screwed :(

I have the same bet at 12/1 with Lads,i expect to be paid at sp xmas hurdle.

im guessing it must have been a similar time as the 12 was only there very briefly |

My earliest NRNB with them was 6th January. All 4 races were NRNB at the same time. Remember the chsmas hurdle didn't take place until late January.

does anyone know the exact day the champion hurdle NRNB started? just wanna get my evidence right when trying to collect anything
i placed the bet in a ladbrookes shop were they NRNB at the same time as say online/phone accounts? |

Yeah champ hurdle and gold cup. They went NRNB on the 4 big races at the same time. I don't know the exact date. I suspect it was December 31st. Although it's no later than 6th Jan.

Canny it is not in their rules mate they went nrnb 28/11/2010 and customer services said Bino bets before that even multiples are losers. The guy who told you to ring on main forum is prob a Lads rep and they are treating you special so you shut up. I have a double that would pay a lot now so I checked

alright fells just been paid out at 13/8 win single for the xmas hurdle by ladbrokes after literally half an hour of pestering!!
anyone that had the binocular double will be paid out at 13/8 (sp) :D buzzing ive got nearly 650 back from them and i nearly binned the ticket yeasterday if anyone needs any info or my betting ref number to compare against with customer services if they are playing dumb when you try collecting let me know coupers... i bet the 10/1 will hill bet first and £300 was all they would take, i then went ladbrokes and asked for a requested price on the double and they rung customer services and offered 12/1 and i asked what max bet was and they said £250 so i had that, was a bit gutted at the 10/1 william hill had then which i spotted on oddschecker, i even went back to ladbrookes next day for more but they would only do me 10/1 for £100 so i left it. anyway when binocular won xmas hurdle i was really happy as i took £500 on hurricane fly at 12/1 antepost and £500 dunguib at 10/1 (ooops!) a good 9 months or so ago both at ladbrookes and binocular double was a cover bet. all worked out nicely now..... providing hurricane or dunguib wins ....... so that means menorah will sods law LOL |

if anyones having trouble collecting on the double providing it was placed AFTER 31/11/10 you WILL be paid. i got told no TWICE and i made the guy ring back and got it eventually, must admit they were very reluctant
one thing i did say was that i had spoke to people on BF forum who had been paid for the same bet and i would be able to get their ref number to prove this as its all logged on system.... if they pay one person out they have to everyone else or its a solicitor job. 10 mins later i was paid out so they obviously realised others with same bet have been sorted out and paid! |

one final important point, if they fob you off with the "you didnt write NRNB on the slip" its bollocks, it goes by the date on the bottom and providing past the 31/11/10 your home and dry. theres enough evidence to show they clearly advertised ALL bets after this date were NRNB

im big on ghizao in the arkle, think this is stillmassively over priced too so fingers crossed for a good day i'll be there at cheltenham tomorrow to cheer them on and hopefully walking back into ladbrokes the next day to pick up some $$$ menorah has been one of those horses that has spoilt everything for me in every race he runs in! ironically the only time i ever backed it was that farce of a race where lush lashes or lush life whatever its called beat it. then.... that put me off backing it 12/1 for supreme and it goes and bloody wins i foolishly jumped on the dunguib train and got last years festival off to a horror start :( too be honest if everything lost though and kauto or denman won the gold cup it would make my week |

Yes the jock let a lot of us down that day with the ride he gave Menorah.However i follow Pricewise if i fancy his selections,he put me back on it for the Supreme,if i remember correctly.You either like the form of that race or you dont.That is why i am against Menorah.

By the way it looks like Henderson has me beat again.I have had to take the 11/2 for Bobs Worth in the A.B, looking at betfair my chunk on it @16/1 for the Neptune has gone down the swanee.Anyway good luck tomorrow.
