I've backed him and still feel as confident as when I placed the bet!

Any late thoughts? I think he's been excused his run in the Kingmaker, a return to front running tactics should suit, Geraghty on top, Henderson bullish enough...seems to have been forgotten somewhat, or am I being over sensitive?

Warwick was a touch disappointing but only for me because it limits the way he can run in the Arkle. He is going to have to be fairly prominent which suits Newbury but I just hope he saves plenty for the hill. I can imagine him winning it similar to how Sizing Europe did last year. I still however am very confident in him and I very much believe he is the only possible 2 mile star in the race. Only one to fear is Ghizao. He is bordering on a banker horse for me.

He demolished Hell's Bay (rated 156) by 8 lengths then hacked up by 55 lengths  next time out.

At Warwick last time, he was held up to try something different, jumped terribly as he didn't like it, and connections now know something about him they didn't before. Despite all that though, he still beat Tail of the Bank by 11 lengths, and that one ran really well off 133 last weekend to boost the form.

Finian's is more than capabale of posting a figure in the mid 160's, and that'll make him very hard to beat.

Class horse in the race.

Good posts chaps, thank you very much! :)

I think he's the only class act in the race too, my one concern is if it turns into a row then Medermit is probably the most streetwise of them all, but that said I think he's a bit one paced and if we get a good enough run on him he won't get near!

Best of luck!

I think you will know your fate early doors.  If he pings the first 2 then he will have amajor chance. If he clatters any early, no chance.

Depends on his jumping, not many 8yo,s win it, and he will need to stay to the left of Cap'n Chris.

I've lost all confidence after Warwick, looked very weak at the finish which combined with his tame effort up the hill in last years Neptune makes me think he'll be a sitting target for soemthing - still hope he wins thoughLaugh
