I haven't had a bet and probably won't on the day, but my impression of their running styles would have Grand Crus leading from half way. I don't think Big Bucks can allow him that big of an advantage as the race could be over by the time BB stays on. I was awestruck by GC last run and the twos running styles are a complete contrast so it will be easier for me to just sit back and watch a great race.

BIG BUCKS is a monster, when will people realise this, just look at the utter contempt he treated TIME FOR RUPERT with last season, and this is the beast who's 9/4 fav for the RSA!
GRAND CRUS wont get near him IMHO,im glad he's come along though, gives all us BIG BUCKS backers an early christmas present,

of course big bucks is beatable. however, justifying that statement by saying he keeps beating slow boats is a bit silly. is winning his races not enough? personally i wish there was another horse like grand crus to make him 7/4. at 11/8 the horse is a mad price whoevers laying it must have been at work for his last 10 runs[;)]

Any horse is beatable but the new kids on the block are.
Grand Crus, a fantasic win last time out but in conditions totally different to that he will encounter next week.
Mourad improving but has only beaten Moskova and Powerstation so far this season.
Fiveforthree at his best is the one that would worry me but he is fragile.
Lay of the meeting? Certainly not for me

kind of hard to get through to people the difference between running away from a slow boat like Knockara Beau and running in the world hurdle.

These horses look fantastic at the time and do take your breath away. Off the top of my head American Trilogy was mightily impressive when running away with the County Hurdle but where would he have finished in the Champion Hurdle?

Ok Grand Crus looks different gravy to him but kid yourself not he was somewhat flattered by that wide margin.

In the Cleeve hurdle the year before Tidal Bay slammed Time For Rupert, Katchit, and Bouglar who are in a different league to KB over hurdles.

Doesn't take a genius to work out the form of his race is far superior to what Garnd Crus beat so how can anyone be confident Grand Crus is good enough?

You can fancy him but why on earth would anyone want to lay Big Buck's.

He's won how many consecutive races?

Lay him I would my backside there are plenty single winners of novice hurdlers racing on different ground who start oods on and get beat out there to be laying without opposing one of the best horses in training if not thee best.

Rondetto i take your point regarding Grand Crus and i'm not saying he'll turn over Big Bucks but for me it's not what he beat in the cleeve, it's the manner in which he beat them, sorry slaughtered them.

Grands Crus this.... Grands Crus that.... Just wait until Thursday, it will be the race of the decade. Big Bucks is cantering all over Grands Crus. Grands Crus is good enough to finish 2nd, he is a top horse but Big Bucks is the real thing.
