my main contenders would be;

cue card in the supreme, looked weak as a kitten last time, and faces serious oppo in spirit son. could anyone be confident of him in a battle up the hill given the way he folded like a pack of cards last time out? maybe he'll be able to win on the bridle and won't have to battle, but given the impression that the henderson pair have made I rather doubt it.

medermit arkle.

intially i was keen on this by process of elimanation that the others weren't much kop, but now i'm starting to lean to the idea that he won't get up the hill, doesn't find a great deal off the bridle in any case and his price is plenty short enough. finians rainbow is likely to jump much better than he did at warwick ridden more prominently, and looks to have far more long-term potential. then you have the nicholls horse running for you who has done nothing wrong either.

call me crazy, but it's all about the price. just think theres plenty here that could be anything, aiten thirty three, jessies dream, wymott, to make current prices of about 2-1 about a horse that has had 2 races over fences seem more than a little daft. sure he's looked bombproof so far. but that's because nothing has put him under pressure. here he'll have to jump well when others are putting it up to him at speed.

price seems more about hype considering his lack of experience, and the fact that he faces two serious rivals in oscars well (whos won two grade 1s) and bobs worth, and yet is trading at the same odds as the far higher rated jessica harrington horse just seems plain daft. but that's cheltenham fever for you.

big bucks world hurdle

more of a serious animal than big zeb but for me, finally faces some very serious oppo in grands crus who i'm very confident will turn him over. rather than lay big bucks however, i suggest a back of the pipe horse, as i'll be amazed if the winner doesn't come from these two.

kauto star, denman and imperial commander gold cup.

lay them all. kauto and denman are fading fast and while imperial commander is holding his form far better, just can't see him winning back to back gold cups, bit like big zeb...
