that was based on performances produced in hock deep ground.....time instead to once again  look for all the horses that have slipped by the wayside as in need of good ground.....and as if by magic will spring back to life next week....so many to mention but the likes of oscars well and so young aren't going to know what's hit them next week.....and from over here, i remember all to well timmy murphy getting off ghizao and telling us all that he's ground dependent.

Perhaps Oscars Well and So Young will improve for better ground

Maybe the best horses will win.

i'll take the chance that for horses that act so well in bad ground that they would struggle on far better ground.

so you totally ignore the form book if the horse runs well on soft / heavy Confused sounds like a shrewd move

i haven't forgotten him...happy to completely write off that chepstow run....he impressed me greatly in his 2nd run at cheltenham when he didn't travel as well as on the first occasion but still ran on strongly to win easy in the end....hope he sticks to the triumph though.

I don't agree with that, but I do agree horses who were perhaps fancied early in the season, then written off after a couple of poor performances may well surprise a few!

Its that time of the year to sit back and watch something at 33/1 stroll home and everyone looking into there racing post thinking, how did that win??... :)

...and then think, oh ****, I fancied that earlier in the season but it ran two shocking races on bottomless ground at a track that didn't suit but it had to run at because every other meeting had been called off!! Ah, the joys of National Hunt racing...!
