I think so.
Backing 6/5 shots at the festival isn't normally the fast route to retirement, but she is literally stones better than any other mare IMO

I think alot epends on the easlier results, if 2 or 3 favs have gone in the bookies may look to get her and recover some earlier losses, if we're sitting with a few 33/1 rag winners then the satchels will be bulging and they'll just want to get out the racecourse and bank it.
Listen for the morning rumours around her, she is so fragile I'd want to make sure she travelled over OK and is fine.
On form she should be 4/7

Can't be Howdi, I got 6/4, not sure she opened up any bigger than 2s.
And whilst you're right there were some worrying noises around her in the days leading up to the race, on the racecourse there were nothing but positives hence the plunge

There is a horse in this, race last seen over hurdles, in May 08 then rated 144 as a juvenile, which was a better rating than Quevega at the time. Since then, after injury, she has improved 32lbs on the flat including a cracking 2nd in last years Cesarewitch, only just beaten a nk off of 94. If she has improved only half of that, even just 10lbs, it puts her right in the mix and currently trading at 33s, I recommend having a little each way on La vecchia Scuola. I was at a preview night last week and sat next to her trainer Jim Goldie and she definately runs. I'm on

Spoke to JG again this morning. She is fit and well. Lee comin up tomorrow to pop her over a few hurdles. Yes he does think she will run a big race. If she was trained by Nicholls or Henderson she would be single figures.

I know you cant compare flat to hurdles, but that is where we all start when one comes from the flat to try it's luck over hurdles. All I'm saying is at 33s, I would rather have an e-w bet on LVS than have a plunge, cos that is what it will need to be, on an odds on shot we haven't even seen since last year at Punchestown.
Quevega is to short.
