Into work to f@rt about for a couple of hours on Monday morning. It's either a dash up to Stratford or, more liely, a leisurely drive over the Cotswolds, stopping off for late lunch / early dinner at the Plough in Ford, right at the bottom of Jonjo O'Neil's gallops, then onto the hotel.

4 nights and all 4 days of utter bliss, win lose or draw!

Easy for me as I live here. My 28th successive meeting as an annual member. Not the greatest fan of the 4 day festival. Tuesday and Wednesday the best days IMO. I may go Thursday, maybe not. For the last few years I've gone to watch the Gold Cup then bailed out.

Laugh
Our original flight was at 10.55am then they changed it to 8am Cry  Pain in the ass as we can't get a train to Birmingham in time for the flight so we've ordered a taxi to take us direct.
Enjoy the Grill [;)]

Going down Monday, and also going to Royal Oak preview night, then all four days, staying in a house in Bishop's Cleeve (about 30 minute stroll to course). Got seats up in the grandstand, with superb views all round the course, and with a bar that is generally not too busy . Not cheap overall, but worth it, as I don't like standing round a lot.
