Mr Claisse's watering policy has been vexing for many over the years.  I have my own strong thoughts on it but will withhold them pending the poll results on my blog.

I set the blog up on 26th Feb ( I make no money from it and just write it from an enthusiast's perspective).

If you'd like to vote on the thorny issue of Cheltenham's policy of producing easy ground on day one, you can do so here:

http://wp.me/p1o7dN-4U  (you might need to cut/paste the link)

Please encourage other racing fans to take part in it so the sample size is as big as possible.  I plan to send the results to Ed Gillespie.  The Poll is open for one week.

Thank you

Simon Claisse wants good to soft ground every day, if it doesn't rain during the week then the ground will be quick come Friday and he's limited as to what he can do between racedays.
If the festival opened up with quick ground and we lost half a dozen horses during the week racing would be crucified.
Bear in mind the weather for festival coul be anything, I've stood in freezing rain and also in 75 degree sunshine, Claisse does not have an easy job...

Done, very simple guys,if you are one of those that truly look forward to the festival, this is a chance to vote on how you feel the ground is being prepared.

Steeple....Will you let us know on here after the week? Good to see someone actually being positive, well done.

I have 76 other burning questions for those at chelt that see fit to change years of tradition at the drop of a hat, with seemingly no regard,or desire,to seek the opinions of those that really cherish this spectacle, and support it every year.
