now the weights are fully out, clearly any win from now on gets you a penalty for one of the handicaps, and more chance of getting in if in doubt of being ballotted out.
one question i have though is do you get a penalty for winning a novice race?? can the handicapper reassess your rating from winning a nov H or nov Ch this week???

prince erik won a novice chase in ireland yesterday and would have to shoulder a 5lb penalty at the festival
