With the quote in the RP stable tour "As he runs well fresh his first outing may be in the Grand Annual at the festival" in seems very odd that team Hobbs want to run it in the County Hurdle off a 10lb higher mark than it has in they grand annual.

Plenty of time for Philip to wake up and do the right thing, common Philip, you know it makes sense[;)]

Working with Menorah suggests he's hurdling at home plus backed from 33-1 into 14's for County I'd reckon it's a given he's staying over timber.

Racing Post March 3  'Snap Tie goes for the County Hurdle and he's in very good form even tho he hasnt run for 18 months cos of suspensory problem. When he was seventh in 2009 Champion Hurdle he would have been placed if he hadnt missed the break, and from what i see at home i think he's as good.'- Philip Hobbs

must have decent ground. I backed him in the CH when he finished 7th, awful mistake from Johnson at the start that day. Cry

I know that all the money and all the Philip Hobbs comments state that he will be running in the county hurdle but i refuse to admit that the grand annual from a 10lb lower mark isnt the right race!

The only thing that worries me is that he may have schooled really badly in which case i dont want to be on. For the record i'm only on NR no bet so its not a big problem.
