Very weak on here.

His trainer has stated that he may swerve Cheltenham and go for some meaningless race at Newcastle instead. Hopefully Mr Wylie, remembering the glorious wins of Arcalis, No Refuge and Inglis Drever, will show more balls.

After the last run I cant believe they would want to skip the AB. I just thought it was JHJ trying to be realistic, nobody is trying to back it which is worrying. It's one of my few AP bets that isn't nrnb Cry.

Thank you for that.

I tend to agree re the going. Looks like a case of "too good to risk him on ground we aren't 1000% sure will suit".

Whatever happened to "run them while they're fit and well"?

I dunno. It's around gd-sft (Claisse is calling it soft gd-sft in places)at the mo and there is rain forcast for towards the end of this week and around the weekend into Monday.

Gd-sft is still looking fav but you never know. Last year the 2000 guineas was run on completely different ground to the 1000 the next day because it hammered down through the night (just ask my pocket and Mick Channon about it[;)]).
