My best chance there is Binocular. I schooled him this week and he was electric, which is a good sign, but I’m under no illusions, this Champion Hurdle is a better race than last year.

Beyond him, I’m struggling to see where a winner will come from and my best hope seems to lie with Nicky Henderson’s second-strings. I don’t have any standout novices now that Backspin is out and Starluck doesn’t go for the Arkle. I’ll probably ride Rock Noir in the Arkle, I’ve got Captain Cee Bee in the Champion Chase and Albertas Run in the Gold Cup.

Thanks a lot for the update Eric

I have backed him in the Arkle a while ago, on here win @40/1 and e/w with Sid James @33/1.

Don't hold out much hope, but would be nice to get a run for my money and could maybe scrape a place.  When I saw AP was likely to ride Starluck my heart sank!!
