3 mile handicap chase on Tuesday before the Champion Hurdle whatever they now call it. Not sure if he jumps well enough but could be a similar type to Wichita Lineman and that would be ironic if Darryl Jacob rides as I'm sure he will.

williams couple weeks ago - "He doesn't go for the RSA, he goes for the three mile handicap chase that used to be the William Hill Trophy," he said.
"I think he's a stayer more than a middle distance horse and I think three miles will suit him better. His run against Wishfull Thinking is very encouraging." |

At a London previe night this week most of the panel made a big case for it if it ran in the Jewson and were urging a NRNB bet, which makes sense.
Really, considering that it has excellent cheltenham form and has NEVER run further than 2m 5f it would be nuts to run him in a 3m race. Why on earth try it now, at the festival?... Nick Williams has not at all covered himself in glory with Diamond Harry - according to himself "mismanaged" (Exeter preview). To balls up this too with an untried distance would have me seriously considering his judgement for the big races and meetings. |

not into breeding eddie? the horse needs 3 miles plus, theres no 2 ways about it

If the Step up to three miles helps his jumping, then he could be very well handicapped imo.

I think that's just what he needs. If he's there 2 out, there won't be anything with a better engine. Does need to jump better early on though.

We'll see and you could be right, think not to try it before is an error...bon chance!
