I would have thought it was obvious that Gauvain travelled all over Riverside Theatre et al last time out, but basically didn't stay the trip - Riverside pulled away at the business end. Take out Master Minded and you're lfet with a weakish champion chase. I would have thought this course and distance winner would be far better off taking his chance there, given his cruising speed?
i have 70/1 to very small money . i therefore agree with you . ch. chase not normally a 'surprise' race but with so little top flight racing this season you never know ....
