yeah was not happy today after reading that he's been entered into this race. Ive had a nice ante post wager on him for the festival chase. This is only goin to hinder his chances.
Not one ante post bet that ive had so far has gone in my favour. Cruel game ![]() |

it is cruel sometimes, it doesn't make sense to me to go for this race. it is not like the owner needs some cash so you would think they would go for a race at the showpiece event of the year where they have enjoyed plenty of success in the past.

As i mentioned on your thread Bland really keen on him myself, can`t believe he is entered for Saturday, just don`t understand it surely can only be detrimental to his chance at Cheltenham,if he lines up at all.Thought he was tailormade for the race, gutted

BJG whats your thought on Call The Police for the Koral Cup ?Seems to be a fair few decent judges suggesting that he`s the one for the race.

Do think he is defo the best of the Irish for the race - will definitely go close

Vectis, i told a mate to watch out for Call The Police in Coral Cup back in January after its 2nd to Final Approach at Leop..., solid form, lightly raced and certain imo to relish 2½m. Sadly there was no betting on Coral Cup other than pennies on here before its next easy win which pretty much gave the game away really...v impressive and i think the handicapper could have taken a more dim view of that. However, connections do see him v much as a chasing type for next year and i wouldnt be sure they'd risk him if the ground dries up (only run on soft/heavy), so he's defo a NRNB job imo if you are thinking of backing him.

Thanks for that Duncan, after reading Willie Mullins comments in The Post today, and i know you shouldn`t believe everything you read,i`m of the opinion that they really are very happy with his mark so i`m going to back him.

Noel O'Brien, Ireland's senior handicapper, said Call the Police was the best handicapped Irish horse of the meeting at a preview night last Thursday. Either Maynooth or Waterford. I can't remember.
Takes yer mind back to Skys The Limit doesn't it.... |

Don't rule out Ballyhaunis from the Mullins yard for the Koral Cup, lightly raced and nice weight and have heard positives on a few of the Irish preview nights for this one.
