Does anybody agree, Totesport's prices for the Cheltenham Festival are terrible.

That are bad all year round, at the moment they have the first 3 in the betting for nearly all the races the lowest prices, lower than any other bookmaker.

Are there scared to take a bet?

I don't blame them, id approach it the same way!

Too many people think themselves too clever to play at short prices so they're hunting the "value" down the field; that's where to be competitive, and the margin of the price difference will make so much more appeal!

Looks at Totesport's prices for the Arkle Trophy.

Medermit 7/2
Finians Rainbow 7/2
Ghizao 4/1
Realt Dubh 8/1

The first 4 horses in their market are shorter/same as the highest prices in other bookmakers markets.

They surely should be laying one/two of these horses bigger to match other bookmakers?

Their perogative to run their business how they like. Enough folk bet with other companies they'd wise up sharpish.

FWIW I think because they push the idea of their profits staying in racing, there is a 'moral blackmail' element to their marketing and their prices as they always seem to be a point or two shorter on the leading fancies.
