Does anybody else think they have a mental block on certain races ?
My first Cheltenham punted on was 1986 and I've been every year since 1990, but I can't ever remember having the winner of the Grand Annual, in fact I don't remember having anything placed.
The Byrne Group plate and the Kim Muir are others where I've struggled.
Yet I've managed to back 6 of the last 10 Champion Hurdle winners and 5 of the last 10 Triumph Hurdle winners.

Had one place in the last 8 years. But take into account I lump of mug favourites like Sweet wake and Cousin Vinny. |

im 26 ive been into racing since i was 20,ive never been able to back the champion hurdle winner,in fact mine are usually beat by halfway
 my luckiest race by far is the supreme novices,ive managed to back captain cee bee,go native and menorah in the past 3 years,i still havent decided who to back in the years champion hurdle but ive no doubt whatever one i go for will run a stinker and what makes it worse is i had a big bet on binocular 2 years ago when he was stuffed and didnt give him a chance last year |

The champion hurdle is my second worst race. ( As you can see I'm not a fan of Tuesdays ).
Recent bets have included dogs like SPECULAR. Just why I parted money with this animal I dont know. The only reason I can think of is someone must have spiked my beer. |

Have had sizeable bets on the likes of Ebaziyan in this race |

I consider myslef to have a decent record in this race with one winner and two places since 2000  |

Never had a bet in the cross country. Yet to strike in the Albert Bartlett or the Jewson.

The one race I have never had the winner in is the albert Bartlett, my next lowest is the County Hurdle with only 2 in the last 17 years
My favourite is the Byrne Plate with 8 in the same period, although statiscally I have had more winners in several of the other races, many of these winners were at big prices |

How long have they they been running the Ryanair ? 5 years ?
There are a couple of these newer races I've not backed the winner of but to go 5 years without winning in a race is probably not uncommon, I've has at least one, sometimes 2 in the Grand Annual over 25 years and still yet to break my duck ! |

his form in king george when hitting a few fences late on is good enough for me, i got him at bigger prices awhile back still think hes decent price at currens
