I admire him but this year is going to be very different for him from the point of making a judgement on what to ride at cheltenham.

Obviously he is going to ride MM,KS & BB and quevaga

Its just his judgement of not being on board during the last few months that bothers me, i know trainers and jockeys sort of know whos best.

I am just worried that ruby doesnt know that 1833 is a triple gold cup winner in waiting.

Seriously thou, he isnt going to know who gave him the best 'feel' , is he ?

No he wont know who gave him the best feel but he is savvy enough to play it by ear .. i.e when he gets on the horse going to the start and how they are running furing the first couple of furlongs etc.

My worry for him would be his fitness of the mind, attention to detail, as he has been out of actual race riding for a while

I have no worries on fitness, at 50% he still in the top 10.

Its if he was fit, he would of had a feel of the irish and english horses.

So he maybe relying on trainers....

After readings PN book, he needs convincing...
