You'll be laying that £400 waiting at 5.4 as we speak then ?

Listen, who cares what the owner says? Alan Fleming said Starluck was going for the Arkle Thursday morning, now listen to what he is saying. You cannot take anything these moderate trainers and owners say. The only man to listen to is Mr Paul Nicholls. He is a genius.

So why haven't you laid the £400 ?

Only two possible reasons.

Either you full of shyte or you haven't a pot to pi$$ in.

Moderate trainer and owners? Hmm, I don't find myself wondering where you fit into the scale of humanity.

I was at Haydock preview last night and Paddy seems more hopeful than confident.
Just my view but i think he is hoping for a much improved horse at Kempton tomorrow.

Retaining the Gold Cup in consecutive years is a task Kauto Star could not achieve. Best Mate and Arkle fit the course like a glove and they managed it three times. Is Imperial Commander better than wide margin winners like Looks Like Trouble, Master Oats, Burrough Hill Lad and the like ... no he isnt the ratings compilers can say what they want but raising ratings based on Kauto Star who is not suited to Cheltenham, never has been as it is a jumping, stamina emphasised track, is inflating the standing of the horses around him. I fancied him to win the race again but the vibes arent good and imo he will need to be a lot better than last year to win again after recent developments.
