The entries have been made although the weights are not out yet so this may be jumping the gun but the price warrants it.

PP have priced up Domination at 50/1 which seems far too big for this race.

Won at Clonmel last week on heavy ground but will be better suited by good or faster, was a decent enough middle distance handicapper with Hugh Morrison in England last year. Trained and owned by a gambling yard so perhaps PP know something I don't but if connections are keen I would expect this price to go before the weights are announced.

The horse will probably need a handicap mark in the low 120's to be guaranteed a run here (last 3 year's bottom weight has been rated 122, 121 and 122 respectively) and owner also has Sailor's Warn in this so there is some elemt of risk involved but still 50's ?

I like Paintball for this but worried he won't get a mark high enough ... looked at website and plan is FW ... " I had told a lot of people that I thought he was probably my nap of the week when he last ran at Warwick. He disappointed that day and came back from his race with a dirty nose and a bad scope. It has therefore been a real rush to get him back onto the racecourse in order to try and qualify for the Fred Winter at Cheltenham. He will only improve from today's run and now it is time to pray that the handicapper gives him a high enough mark to get into the race at Chelenham"

Qualinas is of interest in the first at Sandown today. Been backed into as short as 14s with some bookies for the FW this morning, mainly 20s, Ladbrokes still had 33s last I checked. Owner says he's backed it both today and for the FW.
