I am learnt over the years not to listen to everything trainers say regarding race targets.

H.Knight - She said at the end of last year that Somersby would not run over two miles again. Errr.... I believe he's running in the Champion Chase next month lol

C.Murphy - Voler La Vedette will be going to the David Nicholson Mares Only Hurdle again this year. Errr.... I believe he has pulled the horse out because he prefers to go to Punchestown now.

A. Fleming - Starluck will go to the Arkle after Huntingdon on Thursday. Errr.... I believe he is going to bypass the race now?

A.King - At the start of the season he was saying Arkle will be the target, then after a refusal and only a workman like victory he decides to step the horse up in trip saying that he prefers the longer race for the horse. Errr..... I believe he has changed his mind again lol.

These are 4 out of hundreds of examples I can give you.

Don't like to them, they are not in the business to help us punters out duh!

Jim Bolger would agree with you

lol Jim Bolger changing his mind was brilliant for myself and New Approach but these trainers are not worth listening to. You may aswell sit down, wait until the day and then back them. I bet antepost, I didn't back Starluck but people that have must be sick, Fleming is a joke.

I agree 100% pipe and nichols are poor - I use my tried and trusted formula of looking at trainers in form over the normal season -at cheltenham that goes outa da window, they have all got stable stars, plots, sub plots, dark horses, and good uns trained specifically for a race, only they know......... and as much as im not a fan of nicky (simpering) henderson, his sportinglife stable for cheltenham was a little more informative than that of his contemporaries

Kicking King at 999-1 as was Binocular I believe....

Willie Mullins has been known to change his mind a few times - he will probably run Mikael D'Haguenet in the champion hurdle, Zaidpour in the Arkle and So Young in the Cheltenham Gold Cup.

Jim bolgers treatment of the racing public is disgraceful. I don't think his pupil AOB is much better either.
