Was hugely impressed by this one today at Taunton and Brendan Powell suggested on ATR that Grand Annual festival target.

Ticks alot of boxes for me.

* a race normally won by a novice
* has finished fourth in Cheltenham Bumper
* finished seventh in Supreme Novices' Hurdle

Can't find a price anywhere but will go up a fair bit today in the weights

Just looked at the prices on here and can't for the life of me work out why Dan Breen and Pepe Simo are shorter than Shoreacres for the GA.

Couldn't find it myself on the BHB website. But Hugh Taylor said on twitter. Ratings are released every tuesday but not sure what time they'll be available to the public on racing post/bhb rating.

He'll more or less definitely get in. Considering 9 of the last 10 winners have been weight 129-134. Honestly think he'll take a lot of beating if he turns up there with a light weight as expected. 14s NRNB, 16s seems more than fair.

Well if he gets in off 135 I can see him being single figure odds on the day.

He would of beaten tanks For That easily at Plumpton when he fell and TFT is on 142 and currently ante post favourite (Henderson factor) but by my calculations that makes Shoreacres 10lbs well in. Off to get some more 16s

Cheers buddy for info

Good spot. Hope the ground doesn't dry out. Last race on the Friday and he is a Turtle Island, so will probably want a bit of cut.

I took 14's on tuesday when trainer was interviewed on Geton. He said he was 80% fit at Taunton, which seems logical.

Aidan Coleman will ride if the wieghts dont go up, if they do McCoy rides.

not sure tbh.

If McCoy rides this thing could go off Fav imo

Off 10st 3lbs this looks an absolute handicap snip (touch wood)

If it rains on Friday will go off favourite and with McCoy on top will be a lot shorter than it is now
