Anybody know what are the festival plans for this star? Which novice engagement is he most likely to take?

Been reliably informed that he goes for the Jewson. Holds a very good chance in my opinion and 20/1 is an e/w price you won't be getting on the day. Ruby to ride an added plus.

Taken out of the Arkle and RSA.

I really liked this fella and actually backed him for the RSA, but I have to admit I had forgotten about him somewhat before reading Nicholls' blog today.  I fancied Wishfull Thinking for the Jewson, however RC was en route to beating him, giving away weight and is currently more than double the price.  Only slight negative for me is him jumping, but 20/1 is more than fair imo. Looking at the market, their are loads that won't be running, and Hell's Bay now unfortunately misses the race, so I dont think he will be that price for much longer.

The forgotten horse. Was travelling best 2 out in the Cheltenham h'cap last time, but slightly stumbled on landing which everyone blew out of proportion, and I'm astounded no-one has mentioned the fact he got kicked by a faller hence weakened, he didn't weaken coz he's not very good as most reports suggested.

He's very good this chap. I would not be suprised to see him winning the Jewson I actually backed him for RSA but ah well..

I am a big fan of this horse and backed him last time at Cheltenham. To me there is no way he was "travelling best" when he made the mistake. He hadn't been that fluent throughout the race and I didn't think he really acted on the track. With that in mind I won't be backing him for the Jewson although I have no doubt he has the class for the race.

I'd like to see him run at Aintree.

Absolutely agree , a bit clumsy in front for me ,the undulations didnt suit although  no doubting the engine , now if his jumping cud improve like WTs did , it wud be  different.

'3 out' sorry, just watched a re-run, I suggest you do. He was going as well as anything except Poq who was also cruising, all the others were at it. He did make a slight mistake 4 out as well where he had to be shaken up for just a few strides.

was at a preview tonight and pfn flagged it up. feels hes got a better horse than wishful thinking based on wincanton form and said he was going just as well as poquelin b4 mistake and noel pretty much pulled him up. 20/1 big price

Agree with all this, think he could be pretty decent and taken the 20/1 following Nicholls upbeat reminder!

Hugh Taylore tipped him up today, so the bookies all got their scissors out

That's Hugh Taylor of ATR, of course, not the lesser known Hugh Taylore

big fan of the horse and also believe he was traveling best in that handicap, he was also going better than WISHFUL THINKING when falling! johnson even said so! without doubt one of the better novices in paul nichols yard!

ffs what is the point in pricewise and hugh taylor. they are just an excuse for bookies to shorten horses up.

Its hardly suprising RC was going better than WT at Wincanton , WT had hardly jumped a fence and had done well to be still on his feet by the time RC (who had jumped fine ) fell . If this is whats coming out of previews lets not bother .

The festival balances on this one for me. The 20/1 ticket is teasing me, wanting me to collect off him. Possible Big Pay Out = Little Sleep tonight.

With you all the way been betting this and really hoped the race would cut up further

Massive chance on literal form with Wishful granted that horse improved massively when it stormed home at Cheltenham
