Understand he's Coral Cup bound
By:
? when was this decided
By:
So long as he aint C Hurdle bound I'm happy. I backed him NRNB before the race at Newbury for the C Hurdle.
Thinking was he'd either win well and shorten for the CH or if he didn't win well he'd go to a different race. I hope it's now the latter! |
By:
he ws definitely going to be a CH horse before his last run- NH's insistance that BG had to be on top- and the fact he usually has multiple entries in the race- now im not so sure. Just hoping the moderate pace and below par ground are an excuse as this boy needs a high cruising speed in his races.

looked a bit doggy to me

By:
Ran as well as he could in the Totesport - had no excuses that I could see.

Christ, Win Only, don't dare say that one of Alvarado's suggestions could look a bit dodgy.
You are odds on to now be the be the victim of limitless abuse from the thread starter. |
By:
WOSP actually said he was a bit 'doggy' not 'dodgy' - doubt that will matter to Alvarado though

Alvorado - any news on Door Boy for Saturday and if I could be so cheeky to ask about Prince de Beauchaeane as well? Thanks in advance.

''Ran as well as he could in the Totesport - had no excuses that I could see.''
i'd disagree with that...made a mistake at one of the early hurdles that dropped him back toward the rear in a race that was to be dominated by those sat prominently...came off bridle tfh and did well to stick on as he did...strongly-run 2m will see him step up on both runs so far this year (The Betchworth Kid also did well to come from rear but i'd not be sure he could cut out the mistakes 2 races running) |

By:
I think he won a very poor triumph to be fair, needs to come down in the handicap before he wins again.

theres only one horse that will be carrying my money in the county hurdle and the horses mark has been protected all year. SANCTUAIRE[;)]
By:
Ski Sunday of massive interest for the County Hurdle imo.
By:
Is Sanctuare going to Cheltenham, I may be very wrong but I thought Nicholls was putting him away to go chasing next year
By:
im nearly 100% certain i saw nicholls saying sanctuaire wudnt run again this season
By:
i thought he was being shrewd by putting him in small fields with no pace with this race in mind. if hes bein put away for chasing then he has well and truly wasted a season with the horse
By:
I think he said the horse couldn't win off it's current mark.

meat loaf - door boy almost certaintly runs this weekend they have been waiting to get him back on some decent ground and on a flat track
and prince de beauchene will either run next weekend in a good chase at kelso or wait for the race he won last season at haydock he is ground dependent though watch out for Belon Gale in the eider hes been trained for the race all season long and the bumper horse in the last on the same card ROGER BEANTOWN brought from ireland they wanted to go jumping with him but it got to late and they wont to keep his novice status for next season so he,ll carry on down the bumper route they think hes a serious horse one of the best they have |

Horse is a nutcase....not much you can do when they wont settle (i know a strong pace would help but he refused to settle in Greatwood aswell as the small fields) |

soldatino gt beaten up early on inside rail... strong pace with a bit of space to travel, he will be fine

Thanks Alvarado - much appreciated.
I've been disapointed with Prince de Beaucheane and Door Boy this season - I thought they both had scope for a lot of improvment. Thanks again and good luck. |
