Guy called JPfestival on twitter.

http://twitter.com/#!/jpfestival

He has a big Cheltenham website as well (jpfestival), pretty well respected guy and he wouldn't be involved in any skuldugger. Judging by nothing else coming out in the press it could just be an honest mistake.

Sorry for any confusion I may have caused.

I see EC. Maybe he seen that he was scrathced from the AB and thought it meant Cheltenham, or he's got injured not long ago as the article saying he's in the other 2 novices was only out this afternoon.

cheers, had a heavy bet on him IR that there had to be an explanation as the race had fallen perfectly for him uptil when AP pressed the button.

Ive got on in the AB as well so if a few more have to give it a swerve all the better for me, granted nothing long term to anything Happy

Jonjo O'Neill says star hurdler Backspin is heading to the Cheltenham Festival after "little" back problems emerged following his defeat last time.

The Grade One winner suffered the first reverse of his career when fourth on Festival Trials Day at Cheltenham.

O'Neill said Backspin's probable target at the Festival was the Neptune Investment Management Novices' Hurdle over about two-and-a-half miles.

"The physio found a few little problems in his back, things like that, but whether that's enough to justify the disappointing run the last day I don't know," he said.

"He seems in grand form and we're very happy with him at home and he'll definitely go to Cheltenham.

"We'll probably have a chat with AP (McCoy) and decide on the race nearer the time, but my gut feeling is that we'll stick with two-and-a-half miles.

"He was very disappointing at Cheltenham, but that's racing."

I'm not saying the horse doesn't have a back problem but why can't jonjo just have 1 fecking horse that runs consistently I don't know!?
