Anyone suggest any decent pubs to go to in Cheltenham after racing?

Depends what you're looking for. I live in Gloucester and go out in Cheltenham a fair bit. What sort of thing you after? Decent real ale etc?

just decent bars/pubs really glossy. Real ales would be good, also like a range of lagers/somewhere with plenty choice

have reviewed the pubs at jpfestival. in summary, Beehive if over 35 and Revolution if under 35.

Is there anywhere to drink near the station?

Place called The Midland - bang opposite.
Gets a bit rammed but they put a marquis up next to the pub which takes some of the traffic away.
There are plenty of others within a walk

More for after racing. Don't have to be back at Birmingham till 9pm for the train back up north but would rather base ourselves close to the station
